A GPSDO (GNSS-disciplined oscillator) continuously steers a local OCXO or rubidium to the satellite signal. It thereby provides a frequency and time reference with the long-term accuracy of GNSS and the short-term stability of the oscillator.

It is the workhorse configuration for lab references, transmitter sites and test setups needing a traceable 10 MHz and 1PPS.
