GNSS is the umbrella term for the global satellite navigation systems: GPS (USA), GLONASS (Russia), Galileo (EU) and BeiDou (China). Each provides position and time.
A multi-GNSS receiver combines several constellations at once, which increases the availability and reliability of the time signal.
