Which synchronization protocols does Masterclock support?
NTP (RFC 5905), SNTP, PTP IEEE 1588-2008 and 1588-2019 (incl. Power Profile IEC 61850-9-3 / IEEE C37.238 for digital substations), IRIG-B, and SMPTE and EBU time code. Both multi-cast and uni-cast are supported.
How long does a Masterclock time server hold time during GNSS loss?
Depending on the oscillator type: TCXO approximately 1 day, OCXO several days to a week, Rubidium months. The holdover performance is specified per model in the datasheet and is laboratory-tested by Masterclock.
What warranty does Masterclock offer?
A standard 5-year limited warranty on all Masterclock products. Daylight bv provides 24/7 support and sales. Maintenance and repairs are handled through our Belgian service channel.
What is the typical lead time?
Standard configurations: 8 to 10 weeks from confirmed order. For stock models we can deliver faster. For larger projects we reserve a production slot to ensure on-time delivery.
Can Daylight set up a proof-of-concept or demo?
For specific projects an evaluation unit is possible. Contact our sales team to discuss the scope and conditions: a PoC works best when it aligns with a concrete deployment requirement.
