Synchronised clock time and count-up timers for hospitals, labs and care facilities

Healthcare & Hospitals

A hospital with several buildings, dozens of wards and operating theatres has one thing in common: exactly the same time must be shown everywhere. A clock that is a few minutes off in an OR or the emergency department is not a detail but a risk for records, medication timing and legal traceability.

What we typically roll out in healthcare:
  • NTDS-series network clocks in corridors, waiting rooms, nursing stations and ORs, all on the same NTP source
  • PoE power (IEEE 802.3af) so one network cable suffices per clock, without a separate socket
  • RC600 count-up timers for operation duration, resuscitation timing or treatment intervals
  • NTP100-GNSS as a central stratum-1 time source, with NTP100-OSC as an autonomous backup for shielded basements or technical rooms
Points to note for care facilities:
  • Anti-glare lens as standard: clocks must stay readable under strong ceiling lighting in ORs
  • Colour per zone: red, green, blue or amber to distinguish wards visually
  • Battery-backed holdover keeps the time correct during a short power interruption
  • Central configuration via WinDiscovery: time zone, daylight saving and brightness for all clocks at once
We do not supply medical equipment or nurse-call systems — there are specialised vendors for that. The synchronised time layer beneath your care infrastructure is our expertise.
