Protocols and time transfer

WWVBWWVB

WWVB is a transmitter in Fort Collins (Colorado) broadcasting the time and date on 60 kHz, derived from the atomic clocks of NIST. Radio-controlled clocks in North America synchronise to it, usually at night when reception is best.

It is the American counterpart of the German DCF77 and the British MSF.
