DCF77 is a radio transmitter near Frankfurt that continuously broadcasts the time and date on 77.5 kHz, derived from the German atomic clocks. Radio-controlled clocks in Western Europe synchronise to it.

Its range is about 2,000 km around the transmitter, so Belgium is covered.
