Chip-scale atomic clockCSAC

A chip-scale atomic clock (CSAC) is a rubidium-based atomic clock shrunk to the size of a postage stamp and using very little power. It thereby brings atomic stability to portable and battery-powered applications.

CSACs are used in defence, underground or underwater timing and as a holdover source where GNSS often drops out.
