A school or campus with dozens of classrooms, lecture halls and corridors shares one problem: if every clock runs slightly differently, one exam starts too early and another too late. Network-synchronised clocks solve that definitively, without anyone having to reset clocks manually at daylight-saving changes.

What we typically roll out in education:

• NTDS44 (HH:MM) in classrooms and corridors; NTDS46 (HH:MM:SS) where seconds matter, such as exam halls and sports halls
• PoE power: one network cable per clock, ideal in renovations where PoE switches are already present
• RC600 count-down timers for exams, presentations or structured assessment moments
• NTP100-GNSS as a central stratum-1 source for the whole campus

Points to note for educational institutions:

• Automatic daylight saving: the clocks adjust themselves, no caretaker doing a round twice a year
• Central management via WinDiscovery: brightness, time zone and configuration for all clocks at once
• Reading distance: rule of thumb about 5 m per cm of digit height — choose the size to the room
• Battery-backed holdover bridges short power interruptions without the time jumping
