TCDS8646 - Time Code Driven Clock – Masterclock

The TCDS8646 is a large single-cabinet combo display with 18 cm 6-digit LED digits on the top row and 10.2 cm 6-digit digits on the bottom row. Synchronises to IRIG-B or SMPTE timecode. For very large broadcast studios, sports control rooms or command centres that want to show two time displays simultaneously at a large size: primary time on top and related time information on the bottom (for example countdown or secondary zone). Available in red, green, blue or amber.

Which applications?

Live sports control rooms (game clock on top, programme time on the bottom), broadcast studios with multi-segment timing, or international productions with UTC plus local time visible.

Can each row read a different timecode type?

By default the TCDS8646 has a single timecode input that feeds both rows from the same base. Different format displays per row (for example 25 fps versus 29.97 fps non-drop) are not supported as standard. For multi-source, look at two separate TCDS displays.

What is the NTP equivalent?

The NTDS8646 with identical dimensions but with NTP input. For IP-only installations choose the NTDS8646; for SMPTE or IRIG choose the TCDS8646.

What is the lead time for this product?
