TCDS19 - Time Code Driven Clock
The TCDS19 is a timecode-driven digital clock display with 2.5 cm tall LED digits in a 9-digit configuration. Synchronises to IRIG-B, SMPTE 12M or 309M timecode (24/25/30 fps non-drop frame), with automatic detection of the source protocol. For broadcast studios, military installations and post-production environments where timecode is already distributed over coax and displays must synchronise to that source. Suitable for edit suites and smaller control rooms that want to show timecode plus extra information such as day-of-year. Battery-backed RTC maintains time during signal loss.

What does the TCDS19 add compared to the TCDS16?
Three extra digits allow display of timecode plus DDD (day of year) or a date alongside the time in a single glance. Typical for broadcast contexts where the day indicator is required alongside HH:MM:SS:FF.
Is the frame indicator (FF) visible?
For SMPTE timecode, the display can be configured to show HH:MM:SS:FF (frame portion). For IRIG-B you can choose HH:MM:SS plus day indicator.
What viewing distance is achievable?
2.5 cm digits are readable up to a few metres; suitable for control desks and edit suites. For large control rooms choose the TCDS46 or TCDS86.
