TCDS112 - Time Code Driven Clock
The TCDS112 is a timecode-driven digital clock display with 2.5 cm tall LED digits in a 12-digit configuration. Synchronises to IRIG-B, SMPTE 12M or 309M timecode (24/25/30 fps non-drop frame), with automatic detection of the source protocol. For broadcast studios, military installations and post-production environments where timecode is already distributed over coax and displays must synchronise to that source. Suitable for broadcast control rooms that want to show timecode plus extensive metadata (day/year/zone) on a single display. Battery-backed RTC maintains time during signal loss.

Which colour should I choose in a control room?
Amber is popular in dark control rooms because it preserves night-vision adaptation. Red is the classic. Blue and green for a modern feel. Available in all four.
Does this synchronise on SMPTE 29.97 drop-frame?
