Masterclock SMPTE Time Code Clocks
CLDTCD12
CLDTCD12 - Digital Analog Clock
The CLDTCD12 is a timecode-driven version of the CLDNTD12: an analogue dial (LED seconds ring) combined with a digital 4-digit hours-minutes display. Synchronises on IRIG-B, SMPTE 12M or 309M timecode (24/25/30 fps non-drop frame). For broadcast and film studios that want to retain the classic look of an analogue dial in a timecode environment. Available in red, green, blue or amber, with automatic timecode-type detection.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference compared to the CLDNTD12?
Identical size and function, different time source. The CLDNTD12 synchronises on NTP over Ethernet. The CLDTCD12 synchronises on IRIG-B or SMPTE timecode via BNC or 3-pin terminal. For IT networks, choose NTD. For broadcast or film studio, choose TCD.
Which frame rates does the SMPTE input support?
SMPTE 12M and 309M, 24/25/30 fps non-drop frame. Drop-frame (29.97 df) is not supported by this model. For 29.97 df, consider a different Masterclock model or an NTP based variant.
Automatic timecode-type detection?
Yes, the unit automatically detects the incoming type (IRIG-B vs SMPTE vs EBU) and adapts. No manual configuration of the source protocol is required.
