MDN19 NTP AND IRIG-B Digital Clock 2,5 cm

The MDN19 is a multi-function digital clock display with 2.5 cm LED digits, designed for applications that must accept several time sources.

Masterclock MDN19 NTP wall clock with IRIG-B timecode, SNMP managed and BNC connectors

Supports CS5, CS3, IRIG-B1 and NTP input via configuration, so a single unit operates in both network and serial (legacy) timing infrastructures. Suited to extending existing installations where serial timing still runs alongside NTP. Available in red, configuration via WinDiscovery, Telnet or SSH.

Frequently asked questions

What is CS5 / CS3?

Masterclock serial time synchronisation formats, used in legacy installations with serial distribution (RS-422/485). CS5 is the more common; CS3 is an older variant. For new installations NTP is typically used, but the MDN supports both for migration scenarios.

Can I switch between time sources?

Yes, the MDN range has fall-back logic: a primary source (for example IRIG-B), with automatic switching to a secondary (for example NTP) if the primary drops out. Configurable via WinDiscovery.

What is the difference between the MDN19 and the NTDS16?

The NTDS16 is NTP-only. The MDN19 supports IRIG-B1, CS5 and CS3 in addition to NTP, for multi-source installations. Both have a similar form factor (2.5 cm digits); choose the MDN if you need more than one time-source protocol.

What is the lead time for this product?
