GMR1000 PTP Master Clock AND NTP Time Server
The GMR1000 is the compact NTP grandmaster for applications that do not require broadcast or PTP outputs.
A single unit serves an entire office or production network with Stratum 1 time, fed by its own GNSS receiver. More compact and more affordable than the GMR5000, ideal for SMB networks, hospital campuses or dispatch centres that need NTP only. With the proven Masterclock GMR platform quality and the same 5-year warranty as the larger models.

Frequently asked questions
When should I choose the GMR1000 instead of the NTP100-GNSS?
The NTP100-GNSS is a 1U desktop unit for smaller installations. The GMR1000 is the full-rack 19" grandmaster, with greater internal stability, higher capacity and the GMR platform that is upgradeable with TCG or TCR modules. For enterprise installations with several hundred NTP clients and critical holdover requirements, the GMR1000 is the right choice.
What is the NTP accuracy of the GMR1000?
The GMR1000 delivers Stratum 1 time from GNSS with an NTP output that respects the typical ±millisecond margin of NTP over-LAN. Practical jitter and offset at clients depend heavily on your network topology. For the exact specification, consult the datasheet or request advice.
How many NTP clients can a single GMR1000 serve?
Hundreds to thousands of NTP clients per second are typically achievable, depending on polling interval and network topology. For large campuses a GMR1000 can act as the primary source with distribution via intermediate NTP servers. Request a design review from Daylight bv for your exact scale.
What is the lead time for this product?
Standard lead time is 8-10 weeks from Masterclock USA. Daylight bv stocks the most common references in Ghent. Contact us for current availability and any rush options.
What warranty do you get on this product?
1 year Daylight warranty + 4 years extra Masterclock warranty on parts and labour (5 years total), via Daylight bv as authorised Masterclock distributor. Carry-in for customers in the EEA, on-site available by prior arrangement. See five-year warranty.
