PoE clocks draw their power directly through the Ethernet cable, with no separate power supply needed near the clock. No PoE on your network switch? An injector adds power mid-cable.
When to choose this? Ideal for clocks in meeting rooms, production spaces or locations without a nearby power outlet. One Ethernet cable for both data and power makes for a much cleaner install. No room to mount the supplied adapter at the clock? Then an injector is the better installation choice: only one cable runs to the clock, with the injector in the technical room.
