CS5-LAN RS-422 Network Injector
The CS5-LAN was a network injector that converted the CS5 serial ASCII RS-422 signal to UDP and NTP for distribution over an IP network.
LEGACY
Still supported for software and repairs.
This model is no longer in production. Contact us for replacement advice.
Request replacement advice →For facilities that wanted to extend their existing CS5 time system with IP-based NTP clients without removing the serial infrastructure. This model has been retired; for new installations a GMR grandmaster (with NTP output directly) is typically chosen, or an MDN display that accepts both CS5 and NTP directly.

Frequently asked questions
Is the CS5-LAN still available?
No, retired. For new migrations from CS5 serial to IP NTP we recommend a direct GMR grandmaster that generates both CS5 and NTP.
What if I still use a CS5-LAN?
A working unit can stay in service. On failure or a planned migration, Daylight bv will work with you to select the right successor based on your infrastructure.
Which alternatives are there for CS5-to-IP migration?
A GMR1000/GMR5000 with NTP output on the LAN, or an MDN display that accepts both CS5 and NTP directly. Request advice based on your existing infrastructure.
Why order from Daylight bv rather than directly from Masterclock?
Daylight bv has been the authorised Masterclock distributor since 2014. You get invoicing in EUR with Belgian VAT, local support in Dutch, French or English, on-site service by prior arrangement and no complications with customs or US imports.
