MTIEMTIE
MTIE (maximum time interval error) measures the largest peak-to-peak time error a clock exhibits over a given period. It is sensitive to outliers and is used to guarantee that a network clock never exceeds a certain limit.
MTIE masks in standards such as ITU-T G.8261 define how much time error is allowed on each time scale.
